5th Grade Articulation
Welcome to 6th grade at the greatest middle school in the nation! Please peruse the links on the left hand side of this section to help prepare you for an exciting first year at Trickum, but first, begin with welcome messages from our administrators and counselor below.
If your child will be a rising 6th grader at Trickum, we have an exciting new opportunity! This summer your child can attend an orientation program on either June 10 or July 15 to have fun and get familiar with the school prior to August. Registration is $30 on MyPaymentsPlus through April 30. Please see the flyer below for more details.

Articulation begins with Trickum's sixth-grade assistant principals and counselor visiting our cluster elementary schools for student Q&A
- Mountain Park ES: 2/4/26, 8:15 am - 9:00 am
- Arcado ES: 2/5/26, 8:30 am -10:00 am
- Knight ES: 2/26/26, 9:00 am - 9:45 am
- Camp Creek ES: 3/19/26, 9:15 am -11:45 am
From there, the events are as follows:
2/17/26, 6:30-7:30pm - DLI Parent Night at Trickum MS for Camp Creek ES Students
2/20/26, 9:45-11:00am - Camp Creek ES and Mountain Park ES students visit Trickum MS
2/27/26, 9:45-11:00am - Arcado ES and Knight ES students visit Trickum MS
3/12/26, 6:00-7:30pm - 5th grade Parent Night at Trickum Middle School
*All rising 6th grade parents are encouraged to attend.
4/2/26, 5:30-7:30pm - Connections Night at Trickum Middle School
(Connections Preference Form opens; closes April 30th)
4/30/26, 5:00 pm - Connection Preference Form Closes
3/12/26-4/30/26 - Registration Period for Summer Orientation
6/10/26, 9:00am-2:00pm - 6th Grade Summer Orientation
